I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been clinically obsessed with clothing and dress since I was a wee tot, turning mom's tee shirts into ball gowns.  While I love Alexander Wang, Vivienne Westwood, Mary Katrantzou, Hervé Leger and way too many more to name, these designers are more a source of inspiration than a purchase priority (or possibility).  To save some bones and boost the originality of my wardrobe, I shop almost exclusively at thrift, consignment and vintage stores, where frugal treasures abound. Right now I'm obsessed with trousers, millinery, creamy lace, and bib necklaces.  I am currently on the hunt for a pair of structured silk pants.



     

I hail from the great big city--good ol' New York, where I spend a great deal of time wading through the packed isles of every thrift store in town, searching for buried treasures by Missoni, Etro, Philip Lim and Imitation of Christ--and if I'm really lucky, YSL. I spend big bucks on little pieces--jewels and gems, pins and rings--and save my pennies by shopping in my friends' closets for wonders unwanted and old. 
I have a hankering for some hot hosiery and am starving for some more bellbottom trousers to replace my lost pin-striped pair by Theory.
